.What is Quaywest Waterpark?


Quaywest Waterpark is situated on the beach at Goodrington Sands.  Originally opened in 1988 and today includes a large waterpark, which includes 8 slides & flumes, swimming pool and childrens toddler play areas.

When is Quaywest Waterpark Resort Open?


The Waterpark opens this year from the 27th May to the 6th September. In May, July & August we open at 10am and close at 6pm.  During June & September our opening hours are 11am to 5pm.  All other attractions at the Quaywest Resort open from 10am to 5pm from Easter to the end of October, staying open until 10pm during July & August.

.How do I get directions to Quaywest?


Quaywest Waterpark is located at Goodrington Sands, Paignton. We are about 10 minutes walk from Paignton Train Station and on the local bus route.  For specific directions visit directions.

.What is the price of admission?


Quaywest offers a variety of admission prices including all-day, 2 hours tickets and season tickets.  For a complete menu of prices see ticket sales.

No. But we can recommend local accommodation of all standards within a 10 minutes walk.

Quaywest accept cash, travellers cheque, personal cheques and major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Solo, Maestro).

.Do I still have to pay if I’m not going in the water?


Yes, with 8 great water attractions at Quaywest you won’t want to stay out of the water!

.Where can I get discount coupons?


Each summer Quaywest work with the local tourist boards, retailer units and local media to provide discounts.  These promotions run at varying times, for various lengths of time while stock last, throughout South Devon.  Quaywest cannot guarantee the availability on a specific date.

.Can I bring a picnic?


Yes you can, but you don’t need to.  Quaywest offers a wide variety of fun foods and beverages throughout the Park.  If you do bring a picnic, please do not bring a alcohol or glass containers.  We recommend that guests put any valuables that they bring in with them in a locker.  We do not, however, have lockers large enough for cool boxes.  Sorry, but no barbecuing inside the waterpark.

.Where are the best places to go with a toddler?


Quaywest has 2 adventure playgrounds for kids.  For the smallest children Toon Town Pool offers great water fun, or for adventure the Submarine Adventure Zone is great fun.  To check out all our childrens attractions click Kids Fun.

.When is the best time to come to Quaywest?


Weekends during July & August are usually the quietest time high season.  Whenever you come, plan to arrive early – Quaywest is a blg place and you’ll want to experience it all.

.What if my party gets separated?


Quaywest is a big place making it easy to get separated.  Make sure the kids are old enough to be on their own and know when and where to check in periodically for sunscreen and drink breaks.  Quaywest does not page.

.What about water safety?


Quaywest is staffed with NPLQ lifeguards qualified to the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.  Rider safety rules are posted at each pool entrance.  Nevertheless we urge parents to teach kids about water safety before your visit. Please be sure non-swimmers or weak swimmers wear life vests. Any young swimmers cannot use any of the slides wearing buoyancy aids.

  • Parents with you young children please follow the following rules:
  • Please don’t swim when you have diarrhea, especially kids in nappies.
  • Please don’t swallow the pool water.
  • Please wash your hands with soap & water after using the toilet or changing nappies.
  • Please take your kids on bathroom breaks often.
  • Please change nappies in the bathroom and not at the poolside.
  • Please wash your child thoroughly with soap & water before swimming.

.Is there shade?


Shaded seating is provided throughout the Park, but we urge everyone to protect delicate skin from the sunscreen, hats, beach footwear and lightweight shirts.  You may bring these items are purchase from the gift store.

.What about my glasses?


Glasses will come off on some slides and so are not permitted.

.Do you have changing facilities?


Changing areas are located upon entry into the Waterpark.  Toilets are located just outside the changing area.  Please be sure to being swim nappies for infants.  Regular diapers are not permitted in any pool or attraction.  Swim nappies are available from the gift Shop.

.What about my valuables?


Best thing is to leave them at home.  Please don’t bring them in the Park on leave them exposed in your car.  Lock money and keys in a locker instead of keeping them in pockets where they may fall out in the rides.  Quaywest is not responsible for items that are lost or stolen in the waterpark or the car parks.  Coin operated lockers are available all day - 20p each non-refundable.

Guests with disabilities may obtain information by telephoning before your visit or by asking the Waterpark Supervisor.

.What about my pet?


Other than service animals for guests with disabilities, pets are not permitted within the waterpark.  Quaywest does not have pet accommodation.  Please do not leave pets in your vehicle or in the parking lots.
