Quaywest lifeguards are the first in guest safety & service. These staff members have a large amount of guest interaction, and the greatest opportunity to insure that guests have a safe visit.
Responsibilities include:
- Insuring guest safety
- Maintaining high standards of safety
- Maintaining skills at rescue-ready level at all times
- Exceptional guest service skills
- Assisting with various tasks including grounds, tubes, line control and rubbish collection.
- Requires physical stamina, and extended periods of time in various weather conditions and temperatures.
- Lifeguards can be audited at any time to establish their shill levels and attentiveness.
Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must complete swim test & lifeguard course at Quaywest Waterpark.
- Must successfully have passed & hold current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
- Must successfully complete departmental & new-hire orientation.
Food & Beverage Service
Food service position includes counter assistance for various food and drinks and basic preperation of food. Full training will be given.
Job duties include:
- Preparing food in appetizing manner.
- Providing great guest service
- Maintaining a clean workplace
- Requires lifting, bending and standing for long periods of time.
- Tolerance to various weather conditions ranging from rainy weather to temperatures that can reach into the upper eighties degree weather.
Job Requirements include:
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Required to maintain established performance levels.
- Attend Basic Food Hygiene Certificate at Quaywest.
- Complete Quaywest Health & Safety work book.
- Successfully complete departmental and new-hire orientation.
Retail Staff
Retail staff members help guests take their Quaywest memories home – in the shape of Quaywest souvenirs. They must also assist with all beach goods from clothing, shoes to inflatable beach fun.
Responsibilities include:
- Knowledge of product
- Restocking merchandise daily
- Maintaining stock appearance
- Security
- Exceptional guest service.
Job Requirements:
- Previous retail experience is preferred.
- Successfully complete departmental and new-hire orientation
Ticketing
Ticketing crew work at the entrance to Quaywest Waterpark. Their welcoming smiles and great guest service lining up to buy tickets, food, souvenirs and more. Cashiers greet and welcome guests in a courteous, proper and efficient manner.
